One of the exciting things that happens AFTER a wedding or engagement session is submitting it to be featured on a different blog. I wrote last year about why I submit every single wedding, because I believe it not only makes my brides so happy but it makes me a better photographer as well.
During my trip to Africa a few weeks ago, I remained as present as possible by continuing business 'as normal' so I would be focused on what I was doing and not what I had to post. While I was there I received email after email about new features for weddings and more! Since I could not share them all - and there were so many! - I now want to highlight each one of them because I am so grateful that other websites and blogs choose to share my work! And...I GOT FEATURED IN SOUTHERN LIVING!!!
So without further ado, here are some of my recent features...
Michael + Jess' sunrise engagement session was featured on Tidewater and Tulle. I'm so glad to have this one featured - it was one of my favorites and now I KNOW that getting up at the crack of dawn was more than worth it! Click here to view the feature.
This one was a throwback to December, but I am in love with Clifton + Kiara's elegant downtown Norfolk engagement session. Between her tulle skirt, killer heels, and his amazing sense of style, these two made Reverie Gallery look so good! Click here to view the feature.
Melanie + Vinnnie's sweet Smithfield wedding was on Borrowed and Blue thanks to the hard work of The Main Event by Emily. These two are such a special couple and I will never forget how relaxed and beautiful their special day was. Click here to view the feature.
The natural hair world has gone a little nuts over the styled shoot I did with The DIY Bridal Network last fall, much to my surprise! So this feature is way different than normal, but Black Naps jumped all over Jackie's amazing hair style by SalonNoa. Click here to view the feature.
In conjunction with Tidewater and Tulle and Montero's Restaurant, we put on a fun little shoot featuring the perfect Rio Olympics 2016 date night ideas. Between incredible food, drinks that lit on fire, and the best little team, this one was so much fun to shoot. And exploring Elizabeth City that day made it even better! Click here to view the feature.
And last - but CERTAINLY not least - one of my images was featured on SOUTHERN LIVING!!! Ahh this is an absolute dream come true. Matt and Lizzie had the most beautiful day at the Yorktown Freight Shed! Click here to view the feature.
Hooray for fun features and wonderful couples! I can't wait to see what's coming up next :)
