Fall Wedding at Lesner Inn in Virginia Beach, Virginia | Andrew + Lauren

There are some moments during weddings that are so meaningful and special that as they happen, I know they will stick in my memory forever. At Andrew and Lauren’s wedding on a beautiful fall day at the Lesner Inn, it was something besides the obvious wedding day excitement and events that will forever be a part of me. What I will remember is the interaction between Andrew, Lauren, and their son as they finally acknowledged what has been true for years - that they are a family. The embraces they shared, the love that is so obvious between them, and the happy tears welling up in their eyes were all markers of a special moment in their lives that none of us will ever forget.

Beyond those sweet memories..

Tropical Historic Post Office Wedding | Jeff + Jenna

Tropical Historic Post Office Wedding | Jeff + Jenna

Jeff, Jenna, and their guests know how to have a good party! That was my constant thought throughout their wedding day at The Historic Post Office in downtown Hampton, starting with fun throwback music where the bridesmaids got ready and ending with a shut-down-the-bar reception, with an after party planned for Marker 20 just a block away! From start to finish, Jeff and Jenna laughed their way through the day with the best people in their lives surrounding them and a beautiful 10-year history that brought them to the next chapter as husband and wife.

In a world of blush and neutral weddings, the tropical theme and pops of color stood out and made a fun, exciting day even more so. I loved the coral bridesmaid dresses, palm tree wedding invitations, colorful tropical flowers, and all the little details in between that made their wedding unique in a beautiful way. The day couldn’t have been more perfect to highlight Jeff and Jenna’s love for each other and their relationship together…

Yorktown Freight Shed Vow Renewal

Yorktown Freight Shed Vow Renewal

Erik and Norma have been married for 8 years, but their love is stronger now than ever, and after many delays they decided to throw the party of a lifetime and renew their wedding vows in front of friends and family on a beautiful spring day at Yorktown Beach. Both of them have been through a lot in their lives, and for the last decade they have been through all the difficulties side-by-side and hand-in-hand. With their children by their side, they affirmed the hard times while acknowledging how beautiful their relationship has grown as a result.

The beauty of their love was matched by the beautiful details that accompanied their celebration. Beautifully Divine Events coordinated the whole affair, from gorgeous flower arrangements to a classy setup at the Yorktown Freight Shed and everything in between. The result was a day filled with both meaning and beauty, one that welcomed guests from both near and far as they reflected on Erik and Norma’s marriage, with many happy years ahead.
