"If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it's yours forever. If it doesn't, then it was never meant to be."

I can't think of a more perfect quote to sum up Matt and Kara's relationship. They met while they both lived temporarily in Chicago working for the local Amate house. While they enjoyed a friendship at that time, once Kara moved to Washington, DC, and Matt returned to New York, it could have all been over. But these two were meant to be from the beginning, and after Kara reached out to Matt so he would be her date at a wedding in Long Island, the rest is history. Eventually, she moved up to Manhattan and officially began dating the man she knew she would marry one day.

That day came in the beautiful city of Reading, Pennsylvania, under a cloudless June sky. Matt and Kara spoke their vows during a traditional Catholic nuptial mass before heading to Reading Country Club to celebrate the new family they had just started. The bridesmaids chose lavender dresses in their respective styles while Kara carried a bouquet of purple flowers, greenery, and white. Her all-over lace dress with a chapel train and braided updo were inspired by Pippa Middleton - only I happen to think she made an even more gorgeous bride :) Overall, the beauty of the wedding was simply a reflection of some of the purest, most true love I have ever seen...

Will and Megan met in an unconventional way - on a cold November night during an intramural college football game. It didn't take long for them to realize how perfect they were for each other, and 4 years later when Will won a gift certificate to a jewelry store after a free throw contest, he knew exactly what he wanted to get with his winnings. He asked, she said yes, and all of it led up to a beautiful day in June when they finally began their lives together.

Emerald BHLDN dresses and dapper tuxes for the bridal party were the perfect complements to the beautiful Two Rivers Country Club after their nuptial mass. Soft blush roses paired with baby's breath filled Megan's bouquet, and her gigantic tulle skirt made her look just like a princess. Their caring hearts were on display as well in their requests for guests to bring canned goods as donations to the Williamsburg House of Mercy...

Excitement. It was written all over Jen's face all morning as she anticipated what the rest of the wedding day would hold. She couldn't stop from smiling as she opened her gift from Doug and wiped the tears away, or as she slipped into her wedding gown, or as she began to walk down the aisle toward her groom. Jen's laughter is one of her best features, and all day long it rang out as she celebrated the most joyful day of her life.

Doug and Jen are deeply committed to one another, and it showed throughout their day. Two pastors spoke during the ceremony - one who Doug has known from childhood and one who became important to them as they met and began to date at their church's small group. The best man told stories of how deeply Jen would listen whenever Doug taught the lesson, and the maid of honor recounted how much stronger Jen and Doug are together than they were before they became one.

Stormy weather threatened all week long..
