4 Things I've Been Loving Lately | Monday Musings

Sometimes I'll be chatting with a friend about a particular question or problem I'm having, and they will come up with the perfect answer based on their experiences. By the time I start using what they suggest or following their advice, I often can't believe it took me so long to do!

In light of that, every once in awhile I love sharing about my recently discovered and newly favorite things - whether it's an activity, a product, or especially a food that I just can't get enough of! The Honest Truth about...Being an Ambivert | Monday Musings

I grew up surrounded by 3 other siblings, which did not strike me as unusual until I got a little older and realized most people only have 1 or 2 brothers and sisters! In our group of four, I was almost always the most outgoing, and I learned quickly how to make friends when we moved around every few years. Living overseas taught me even more how to relate with other people whose background was completely different.

As an adult I drew back a little, which most of us tend to do over time. The days feel longer and my tiredness is more acute now than when I was a child. While I still love to be around big groups and thrive on meeting new people, I am not quite as fearless and bold as when I was younger. Between Nathan and me, however, I will always be the most outgoing person in our relationship, and without my forwardness, we would spend much more time at home and much less time with other people!

The Honest Truth about...My Travels | Monday Musings

I travel...a lot. If you've been following me for any length of time you know that's true. In the past 18 months alone I've been to Africa twice, San Francisco, Arizona, New York (twice), Nashville, Lake Tahoe, Dallas, Philadelphia, West Virginia, Washington D.C., and possibly more places that I'm forgetting right now. This year I've got trips to Slovenia, Reading (Pennsylvania), Maggie Valley (North Carolina), and more planned. Some of these are for weddings or business travel, but many are not.

Of course, most of you know that I am also not independently wealthy, despite the massive amount of traveling I'm able to do. So how is it that I'm able to go where my heart desires whenever I want? Here is The Honest Truth...
