When Kiln Creek Golf Club decided to renovate and re-do their wedding space, I was thrilled to be able to capture their makeover for the first time in a Valentine's-inspired styled shoot. The idea of the shoot was displaying a brand new wedding venue while playing on the inspiration of the upcoming holiday. Published a few weeks ago on Tidewater and Tulle, each part of the vendor team was beyond happy with the result.
But can I talk for a minute about how fantastic everyone was? First of all there was Brandon and Alexia - our couple - who braved one of the coldest days so far this winter for beautiful pictures. In between the outside shots their teeth were chattering in the cold. I almost couldn't take the wind, and I was wearing a heavy coat! These two rocked it out and made my job enjoyable that day.
Beyond them is the incredible vendor team. The DIY Bridal Network came up with a beautiful way to showcase the venue. Chairs from Distinctive Event Rentals and linens from Waterford Event Rentals added some sparkle to an already beautifully decorated sweetheart table. Jeff's Flowers Of Course provided blooms that are perfect for Valentine's Day. And of course, my dear friend Dhalia Edwards made Alexia look even more incredible than she already did in her dress from Blush Bridal.
Overall, this was not only a celebration of Valentine's Day, but a perfect example of the wedding vendors that make Hampton Roads great. I was simply honored to be a part of it.
