Chrysler Museum Wedding Inspiration | Norfolk Wedding Photographer

Back in April, I had the absolute pleasure of working with some of the most talented vendors in the Hampton Roads area to create an inspirational wedding styled shoot at the Chrysler Museum in beautiful downtown Norfolk. I had connected with Misty Saves the Day, and together we brainstormed ways to solidify my brand, focusing on elegant, indoor weddings for joyful couples in Hampton Roads and beyond.

The shoot that followed was absolute perfection. We hit all the right notes with the place settings in copper, with tons of greenery incorporated. The florals were a stunning combination of tangerine, deep purple, and tons of green. The dress was a long-sleeved beauty that accentuated the church wedding element of my brand (though, of course, I love and photograph all types of weddings - those are just my specialty!). The inside of the Chrysler, filled with natural light and gorgeous architecture, brought the whole shoot together in an amazing way.

I could write paragraphs about how incredible each vendor was, and how it was their creativity that brought everything to life but instead, I will let the images speak for themselves. With an exciting feature on Every Last Detail blog earlier this month, I couldn't wait to share these for myself. Enjoy this stunning Chrysler Museum wedding inspiration - and be sure to check out each vendor's website, because I certainly did not do this alone...

Why I'm Obsessed with Voxer | Personal

A few months ago, my best friend moved five hours away. We spent our high school years in the same city but didn't meet until college at Virginia Tech, where we spent the years I was there drinking coffee and building a friendship. I graduated and moved to Hampton Roads and once she graduated a year later she found a job in northern Virginia. I never thought we would be close again, and we sort of drifted apart.

Then, lo and behold, she and her husband got a job in Norfolk, Virginia. I was beside myself with joy. For the last three-ish years I have gotten to live only 30 minutes away from her, and it has been wonderful. We have seen each other change and grow so much, and her friendship is priceless to me.

And then it happened...

Perfect. It's rare to use that word to describe a wedding day, with so many things that could go wrong, run behind, or become stressful, but it's exactly how I think of Jeremy and Meghan's wedding. Both of them were filled with nervous excitement in the hours before they said I do, but they could not have walked into the day with more confidence in the person they chose who would soon be standing in front of them. The weather was gorgeous, the enormous bridal party was loads of fun, and even the adorable ring bearer cooperated as he was rolled down the aisle in a cart. The hours of planning and dozens of spreadsheets that they 'nerded out' over all paid of, and from start to finish their wedding was perfection.

There are always elements of a wedding day that I fall in love with and in this case, it was a four- way tie: Hollyfield Manor was stunning, from the bridal suite to the reception space, Meghan's dress was a soft, summery gown that looked as glamorous as she did, the bouquet was an amazing creation of blush peonies, roses, and pops of white...but most of all, Jeremy and Meghan's relationship is what shone through. They both love to be organized. They were both have hearts of gold, as evidenced in the speeches that highlighted their best qualities. They both fell in love with each other the day they met and spent 7 solid hours together. Together, they are perfect...
