When I photographed their engagement session last May, Brad told me that he just knew it would be 64 degrees at their wedding in February. Jessica and I laughed at him - there was just no way that was going to happen! But sure enough, this winter wedding fell on one of the warmest days of the year, and I happily admitted that I had been wrong to doubt!
Brad and Jessica have set all kinds of records - the day before their wedding they celebrated their 13 year anniversary. They have been together since high school through college, jobs, military deployments, and all that can happen in life over so many years. Watching these two was like seeing two seasoned professionals, with only a ceremony standing in between them and their forever.
On such a beautiful day, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the incredible vendors that brought each element together and made it run smoothly. With such an amazing team behind the helm, the wedding went off without a hitch and Brad and Jessica could focus on what mattered most - pledging to be together for the rest of their days.
Brad and Jessica - I have learned so much from watching your relationship. I know that when you pledged to be together 'for better or for worse' you truly understand what that means. It has been an honor to walk alongside you thus far, and I look forward to seeing your relationship grow for the next 13 years and beyond.

The boys gathered outside to hang out and for some drinks before the action all started.
Meanwhile, the girls prepped in the bridal suite with a great deal of excitement.
Jessica sent Brad a letter for their 13 year anniversary to celebrate the lifetime to come.
The traditional Catholic-Filipino ceremony was held at St. Paul's Cathedral in Old Towne Portsmouth.
This part of the ceremony is so special...Brad and Jessica's sponsors laid a veil and cord over them to symbolize two individuals becoming one forever.
After the ceremony, it was back to the Womans Club of Portsmouth for some bridal party portraits. I just love those lacy mint bridesmaid dresses, especially with the men's dapper gray suits!
With details put perfectly together by Morlina Events, Brad and Jessica danced into the reception in style!
DJ Emer got the party started, and it didn't stop all night!
They exited with friends and family surrounding them, and confetti flying through the air.
