2017 Spring Features Update

The last few months have been a flurry of weddings, portrait sessions, mini session fundraisers, and life in between all of it! In the midst of the winter and spring seasons I have been excited to see 2016 weddings start to be featured on all kinds of wedding blogs, which is always incredibly exciting.

I wrote about why I strive to have every wedding featured here, so in light of that I thought I'd share some of my recent blog features. Each one of these brides put so much time, energy, and thought into their weddings, so I'm thrilled that they were recognized on a bigger level than even just receiving their images - which is not a bad prize in itself ;) Be sure to head over to the links to see the full feature and check out any inspiration you might find on the corresponding wedding blog!

The Black Tie Bride Feature

The Black Tie Bride
Sam and DJ's wedding in Philadelphia was a gorgeous gray, navy, and white destination wedding. It's always been my dream to be featured on The Black Tie Bride, and I couldn't think of a more deserving day than this! Click here to see the full feature.

Nashville Bride Guide
Along with a trip to Pennsylvania last year, weddings took us all the way to Nashville and back. Jon and Shannon are so incredibly special to me, and I was thrilled that their wedding was featured on a hometown blog - or at least their hometown! Click here for the full feature.

Chic Vintage Brides Feature

Chic Vintage Brides
Carson's own mom was the planner behind his special day (her business is The Main Event by Emily), and with Grace's unique vintage touches I knew this wedding was something special. It was a perfect fit for a chic, vintage blog like this one. Click here for the full feature.

Aisle Society
I loved that Ariel and Rachel chose a travel theme for their wedding, since adventure is in my heart as well. Their handpainted globes, her gorgeous dress, and the joy they had all combined for a beautiful day. Click here to see the full feature.

Borrowed and Blue
A little bit boho, a little bit rock and roll, and a whole lot of pretty is how I would describe Michael and Sarah's wedding. I was so happy to work with GroupWedDC, one of the most talented ladies I know, and get to travel to Maryland to photograph their day. Click here for the full feature.

Aisle Society Feature

Tidewater and Tulle
Last but certainly not least, I got to photograph a drop-dead gorgeous elopement at Saude Creek Vineyards on a Monday afternoon! Between the amazing florals and the backdrop of the winery, this wedding found its perfect place on Tidewater and Tulle. Click here to see the feature!

Maria Grace Photography

My name is Maria, and I am a wedding and family photographer based out of Hampton Roads, Virginia, but I am always excited about traveling. I love families who truly enjoy spending time with each other and living life together. I love couples that are looking forward to their wedding day because they are so excited to finally be married to.
