When you plan an engagement session date weeks in advance, you always cross your fingers and hope for good weather. The good news is that when we woke up the day of Patrick and Morgan's session it was sunny...but the bad news showed when we checked the forecast and the high of the day was in the 40s!
Despite the freezing conditions, these two showed up with the brightest smiles on their faces and so much joy in their hearts. They had gotten engaged less than 2 months before in the beautiful state of Hawaii during a birthday trip and after 7 years together, nothing could bring them down from the joy of looking to their future together.
Patrick and Morgan met in high school but didn't start dating until right after graduation. After hearing stories of their relationship, I soon realized how strong they are as a couple. They have weathered many storms together and continue to choose love for each other every day. This friendship is one that will stand the test of time, and the strong foundation they have built will serve them well as they spend the rest of their lives together.
From the gorgeous leaves at the Noland Trail to the stunning architecture of Christopher Newport University, this was one memorable day for all three of us!
