Hunter and Mabree’s wedding almost didn’t happen. They met in high school and dated for awhile, but eventually she broke his heart when she said that while she couldn’t date him anymore, she hoped they would get married someday. As fairytales go this one ranks near the top, because years later they re-connected, this time for good. Years of long distance strengthened them, and one spring day on a dock by the water in his home state of Alabama, Hunter proposed…and the rest is history!
Since Hunter’s family has a longstanding tradition of being stationed at Langley Air Force Base, they knew it was the perfect venue for their wedding day. Mabree is a makeup QUEEN, so all of the girls looked amazing when I arrived - none more so than the bride herself. Blush bridesmaid dresses and gold wedding details added a touch of elegance to an already beautiful day, but my favorite moment of all was witnessing the tears Hunter shed as he watched his future wife walk down the aisle. Her father married them in an incredibly memorable ceremony, and I doubt there was a dry eye in the room.
The wedding flowed smoothly from beginning to end, the dance floor was filled with their most beloved friends and family, and the sparkler exit was simply the cherry on top of a heartfelt day that started their future together.
Hunter and Mabree, may you follow all the advice given at your wedding and keep the Lord as the center of your relationship. It was such an encouragement to see two people vow to put Christ first, and each other after that. Keep laughing with each other, cherish the friendship you have built over the years, and enjoy every moment of the rest of your lives.

Mabree was SUCH a stunning bride!
Hunter and his groomsmen (all 9 of them!) met us at Langley Memorial Park before the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Mabree and her dad shared the SWEETEST father/daughter first look, and her ladies in gorgeous blush bridesmaid dresses surrounded her for their own pictures.
Before they knew it, guests filled in at Langley Air Force Base Chapel for the wedding ceremony, and Hunter was about to see his bride.
They’re MARRIED!
This was one of the biggest bridal parties I’ve ever photographed (17 people!)…but they made the day so much fun!
The rain held off all day and the weather was perfect, so Hunter and Mabree were all smiles by the time the wedding reception at Langley Officer’s Club began.
SO many people came to celebrate Hunter and Mabree - and they filled the dance floor very quickly!
The sparkler sendoff after the wedding was perfect…congratulations, Hunter and Mabree!
