Oh, friends. I'm so very excited about this post...my biggest struggle isn't writing it, it's making sure I don't completely overwhelm you with so many pretty pictures! My heart's desire, though, is not to just share beautiful moments on my blog...it's to share the stories of these newlyweds who are starting their adventure together, as husband and wife. I wish I could tell you why I love each one of them so much, but you don't have all week to read.
Instead I'll say this: what blew me away the most this year is the kindness and generosity extended towards me. One bride gave me a mug stuffed with tea because she knows how much I love those. One bride and groom stopped Nathan and me as we were leaving their wedding and asked how our adoption is going. Another brought things from her home when we got lunch just to show me what they'd done with my pictures. I could continue on, but the point is clear: each bride and groom has a special place in my heart and somehow, Nathan and I have become part of their lives. I thank God for this, and I can't wait for more relationships to develop in the years to come. What a blessed life I lead.
Yes, there were two rainy day weddings...and I'm not complaining one bit.
