My Newest Addition to the (Lens) Family | Business

The farther I get into my business (it's been over 5 years now!), the fewer equipment purchases I need to make. I have a great list of reliable and high-quality gear, so adding to the arsenal comes slower than it did at the beginning when I was first purchasing and upgrading everything. Last year was the year of lighting equipment, but this has become the year of the 24mm lens - and I am officially obsessed!

Jennette's Pier Engagement Session | Outer Banks Wedding Photographer | Josh + Lauren

Jennette's Pier Engagement Session | Outer Banks Wedding Photographer | Josh + Lauren

I've had couples travel to Hampton Roads for their engagement session before, but never has a couple gone further than Josh and Lauren, who came all the way from England! Steven and Rachel decided to go on vacation from Pennsylvania with his son and her daughter. All she knew was that they were spending the weekend in Williamsburg - and she was pretty sure he wasn't going to propose this trip. All he knew was that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with this woman, and he would ask her on the last day of their vacation before they headed back home. He contacted me, planned a fancy dinner at the Williamsburg Inn, and showed up early to walk around with the kids…
