I absolutely love it when couples find unique places for their engagement sessions. There are amazing options in Hampton Roads, but traveling outside of the area brings new beauty and challenges of its own. Jeremy and Meghan fell so in love with their wedding venue, Hollyfield Manor, that they wanted to have their engagement pictures there as well - and I was happy to comply! Between a gorgeous mansion, a lake in the back, a huge silo, and plenty of grounds, there are limitless options.
The first thing these two told me was that they could be awkward in front of the camera, but they were happy to do whatever it took to look like naturals - and it truly didn't take long! Jeremy and Meghan can play together, run through cornfields together, and in a moment embrace each other and share a sweet kiss. In fact, I think kissing may have been their favorite pose that night ;)
