My heart is full. 2017 was truly an amazing year, and ending the season with Chris and Sarah's wedding at the Trump Winery Grand Hall was simply the icing on the cake. Sarah is truly an incredible human being. Life has thrown her curveballs but each time she has come back stronger and happier than ever. I met her in college but didn't know her story until I read this article from her CrossFit gym, which made my admiration for her grow all the more. I couldn't wait for their wedding, and after a postponement for Chris' deployment in the navy, everyone was more than ready for the day to arrive.

Sarah, determined and strong, trained for months to be able to WALK down the aisle with her dad. That moment is one I will never forget. With a smile on her face, Sarah stood up, leaned on the man who raised her, and walked to meet her groom. Chris, caught between tears and unspeakable joy, waited for his bride at the end of the aisle.

Besides the incredible emotions that ran throughout the day, the wedding was simply stunning from start to finish...

There are moments and days so beautiful I don't think they will ever be erased from my memory. Saturday was one of those days. Corey and Sabrina have been together for more than 6 years. They share a life and two beautiful children, but there was one more step they wanted to take...officially becoming husband and wife. As they planned their wedding, they realized that the most important thing to them was not a guest count in the hundreds or a venue to die for - it was the lifelong commitment they were about to make to each other.

Nonetheless, Sabrina wanted to feel like a bride - and oh did she accomplish her goal! Her 'microwedding' (since true elopements involve no guests and there were a handful of family present) was a boho-themed dream from start to finish. Her bouquet and flower crown were spilling over with a gorgeous multicolored selection of flowers and eucalyptus. Her long-sleeved wedding dress had buttons running all the way down the back. The first look she and Corey shared near a lavender field was heartfelt, intimate, and absolutely stunning...

When Michael and Erica talked about their wedding day, they dreamed big. They wanted a destination wedding that made the most of their love for the fall leaves. They wanted an estate-style reception hall that showcased the beauty of Asheville's surrounding scenery. At the end of the day, though, the thing they wanted most could happen anywhere - they wanted to be married after two long years of being engaged!

Thankfully every item was checked off their list, and after a long but much-needed wait, the day of their marriage finally came. Erica was calm as always, chatting casually with her best girls as she got ready for the day. When it came time for their meaningful Catholic mass to celebrate their nuptials, both she and Michael were more than ready. She was walking down the aisle to the man of her dreams, her best friend, and the one she will spend the rest of her life with.

One of my favorite things about their day (that I still can't get over!) is that Erica's bouquet was made of WOOD. Yep - you read that correctly! This handmade beauty was rich with the marsala and white wedding colors and looked absolutely stunning against her Watters wedding gown. Their day was perfectly fall-themed from beginning to end and when it finally came to the last dance and sparkler exit, both of them knew they had chosen the perfect place - and the perfect person...
