This day will forever stand out in my mind as the most Virginia Tech-themed wedding I have ever seen - and that’s saying something, considering I graduated from there years ago! Will and Caroline fell in love on the Blacksburg campus where they went to college, so when it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted it to feel like home, even in Fredericksburg. The reception was covered in the names of their favorite locations (Duck Pond Drive! Prices Fork Road!), and dozens of friends from college came to celebrate - we even got a VT picture on the back steps of the venue!
Will, Caroline, and their friends know how to have fun - I have never seen a dance floor fill up that quickly! - and their bridal party kept us laughing all day long. The ladies looked beautiful in coordinating green dresses, Caroline’s emotional first look with her dad made everyone a little teary-eyed, and the day flowed smoothly from start to finish thanks to their easygoing nature and the planner team from Occasions by M & K. The Inn at Old Silk Mill’s newest venue, Woolen Mill, is sure to become a Fredericksburg favorite.
Enjoy the beauty and laughter of this fun-filled, perfectly designed wedding day between two Hokies who will forever have a love for Virginia Tech and each other to carry them through their lives together.

The bridal party got to ride in a trolley over to the ceremony venue - I was a little jealous!
After their bubble exit, the guests got a little break and we headed to the Woolen Mill for all the rest of the pictures.
Check out all these Virginia Tech-themed wedding reception details! And bonus: the guests got to enjoy cocktail hour on the roof!
…as any good Hokie should, Will and Caroline came in as “Enter Sandman” pumped through the sound system.
Before the night ended, we snuck back onto the rooftop for some sunset pictures, and the beautiful sky did not disappoint. Congratulations, Will and Caroline!
