Almost every wedding day carries with it a lot of ups and downs - things that go wrong or end up differently than expected. Dan and Nora's wedding day, however, was simply perfect. From each carefully planned detail to the family and friends who were there to celebrate, the entire day was smooth from start to finish.
The Trump National Golf Course in Washington, D.C., is simply a stunning venue. From a gorgeous white mansion to a man-made waterfall, each angle took my breath away. On top of the beauty of the Trump, Dan and Nora chose to have a first look, which allowed plenty of time for bride and groom portraits before the weather got too humid and the day started to wind down. They got to spend several quiet moments alone, joyfully preparing to say I Do shortly thereafter.
Above all, I am thankful to Chelsea Anderson Photography for asking me to come with her for such a stunning wedding. She is simply one of the best people I know - both as a friend and as an extremely talented photographer. You can see her blog post about Dan and Nora's wedding here.
I am grateful to have met Dan, Nora, and all the friends and family who were there to celebrate - and if I'm being perfectly honest, I hope to photograph a wedding at the Trump National again soon!
Bright pink and blush colored roses, baby's breath, and beautiful greenery...they had such amazing bouquets.
Dan waited right out on the golf course to see his bride.
Here's our attempt at a Vogue-style bridal party shot. Nailed it!
Nora, you are simply stunning!
I now firmly believe that every wedding ceremony should have a floral arch...
After a coordinated and most adorable first dance, their guests partied the night away.
Congratulations and much love to both of you, Dan and Nora!
