I love it when a couple craves adventure as much as I do, so when Erica mentioned the idea of having their engagement session at the Cavern Trail in Natural Bridge, I was absolutely all in! I met them on a perfect fall afternoon and we hiked down to the waterfalls, stopping about every 10 feet in a brand new place that was perfect for their portraits. On our way back, Erica was even able to change into something a little fancy even though we were on a hike - and I absolutely loved her little lacy black dress!
It's hard to imagine a couple more comfortable with each other than Michael and Erica. They know and love each other deeply and have melded their lives perfectly together. He 'adopted' Squirt (their adorable schnauzer!) as his own, and once she accepted him back the rest is history. Their love for hiking and the great outdoors is only trumped by their hearts and care for each other.
Michael and Erica - thank you for taking me on my most adventuresome engagement session yet! You showed me a beautiful side of Virginia I hadn't yet seen, and you welcomed me as a friend. I'm so glad I got to spend time with you (and your cute little pup, of course!) and I can't wait for your wedding in LESS THAN A YEAR! Ahh!
