It was a beautiful day in May when Michelle and Sven got to the Inn at Warner Hall in Gloucester, ready for a beautiful ceremony and an even more beautiful marriage. Michelle was nervous throughout the day - not at the prospect of marrying Sven, but about all the details that had to be done before that moment. Yet everything came together perfectly, and as she walked down the aisle to her future husband, Sven cried as he grew in anticipation for their many years together that were starting that day.
Sven's family is German, and as such, they are HILARIOUS. Everyone had a blast, from jokes about marrying 'American women' to dancing the night away. It was especially beautiful to see the love between the two families being united as one at the same time. They both spoke of their gratefulness to each other for raising such wonderful children, who have grown and found each other at the perfect time.
Sven and Michelle, thank you so much for letting me share a glimpse of what it's going to be like in your family - both now and in the future. You two are strong and steady, and hold tight to each other. Never let the other go, and never forget the moment you began your journey together. May there be many more years of laughter and dancing to come.
And there was a pie bar, which was pretty amazing.
