Marriage is a gift. It allows us to walk closely alongside someone else for our entire lives, and while that does present its own unique challenges, it also brings its own unique blessings. For Rachel and Jake, one of these gifts is the joy they have - a joy that is only multiplied when they are together. Just as they couldn't stop smiling and laughing during their engagement session, their happiness was overflowing on they day they said their I dos. There is almost nothing more beautiful than that.
Adding to the beauty of their day were gorgeous details planned to fit Jake and Rachel's simple, elegant style. The ONLY sparkly element was her stunning Badgley Mischka flats! Rachel's bouquet was absolutely stunning and carried on the navy and white theme of the wedding. And those watercolor bridesmaid dresses are some of my all-time favorites! With a venue like Hollyfield Manor as the backdrop, the wedding - with all its beauty and joy - came together perfectly.
Jake and Rachel - never forget the gift you have in each other! Never stop smiling together, even in the hard times, and cherish each moment you have together. Stay true to your vows, love each other deeply, and continue to grow the bond you already share. I know yours will be a marriage that lasts.

Both of them were EXCITED...can you tell?
They had the most beautiful first look on the dock right by the water...
Despite the threat of rain all week, the weather could not have been more beautiful all day...and no more so than when the ceremony arrived.
And they're MARRIED!
The reception was both simple and gorgeous. Hollyfield Manor will always be one of my favorite venues!
I LOVE it when couples hire live bands...and this one was particularly fun! I don't know how they played music all night, but they rocked it out!
The sunset was glowy and beautiful and made for some amazing late evening portraits.
