It's rare to find a couple who is completely comfortable in front of the camera. Almost none of us - myself included - are used to having professional pictures taken or seeing a photographer in front of us as we interact with our loved ones. For Trey and Ashley, it didn't matter that they aren't 'pros' in front of the camera because what they are best at is being comfortable with each other - and in their engagement session at First Landing State Park, it showed through clearly.
On their first date, which was Valentine's Day, Trey told me that he went in for the big kiss only to MISS because Ashley thought he was hugging her! The miscommunication quickly ended, though, and the evening ended with a sweet kiss and Ashley jumping up and down in her kitchen, excited about the man who had just dropped her off. Both of them knew that this relationship was a little different, and it was all confirmed later when he dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him, his grandmother's diamond sparkling in his hand.
Trey and Ashley, you two are so sweet together. I admire the quiet love you have for each other, your playfulness together, and the fact that you have well learned how NOT to miss when you go in for the kiss ;) Your wedding at Cypress Creek Golf Club is going to be beautiful (how could it not?!), but even more than that your marriage is going to be one that lasts. I can't wait for June!
When we headed to the beach, we were gifted a gorgeous cotton candy sky and the most beautiful sunset...
