Heath and Kate are both in the middle of huge transitions in their lives. Kate is moving, they have begun new careers, and of course, they are now planning both the wedding day and their marriage. One of the most important elements of staying sane during such big changes is maintaining a good sense of humor, and these two have done just that. From the first moment to the last kiss, both of them were laughing with each other in one glorious afternoon away from all that is happening in the 'real world.'
Colonial Williamsburg is the place in Hampton Roads most reminiscent of Charleston, the city they now both call home where they will be married in March. The fall colors were gorgeous, the plantation-style houses were elegant, and the sun set behind the trees in a beautiful way. It was the perfect time and the perfect place for Heath and Kate to celebrate their engagement and all that is to come. To say they are excited to begin their lives together is an understatement - can you tell by the smiles on their faces?! - and I know that day, and for many years to come, laughter and joy will be a huge part of their relationship!
