It's Christmas season, y'all! Much like each one of you (probably), I LOVE Christmas. It is far and away one of my favorite days of the year, with only Valentine's Day (also my birthday) as a close competitor. This may seem ridiculous, but one reason I love Christmas is that I feel like I can actually decorate my house appropriately! Sure, I put out some kind of fall centerpiece this year, but other than that and a festive tablecloth my house looked pretty much the same.
But not during December. I decorate the whole house, and try to make sure each room that I'm able to put stuff in looks just as cheery as I feel. Of course I always start with a real Christmas tree and go from there. Each time I try to do something a little different that I'm excited about - this year I love what I was able to do with the landing! I visited Ikea for the first time this year and picked out this cool vase thing that fit perfectly in the space I had, which can be a little awkward. So I decorated around it this year, and I love what it ended up looking like.
I hope you love your house this season, and if not, go drive around and look at lights that somebody else put up! Trust me, it'll put you in a great mood :) Oh and thank you to our awesome neighbor who gave us all of the snowmen you're about to see plus some other Christmas decorations. We have put them to good use!
