Ah this was one amazing weekend! As much as I LOVE seeing my photography dreams become a reality, there's something even more fun and exciting about seeing your husband living out his dreams - and I got a little taste of that last weekend! Fox Hole Kingdom was the band for a youth retreat in Yale, Virginia, hosted by Kempsville Church of Christ. They played several sessions in the main room, and led an outside campfire acoustic set, which was one of my favorites over the weekend.
The youth who came were SO excited about their retreat, and the staff/volunteers who came were awesome. It's so great to see people who truly love what they do, enough to go away for a whole weekend with a bunch of crazy students! It was awesome to connect with the students outside of the worship/music sets, too. Overall, it was a huge blessing and I'm so glad I got to go, even if I learned the hard way that editing while riding in a car make me majorly car sick.
If you haven't listened to any of their music yet, Fox Hole Kingdom just released a new single, White Lines. Check it out on their Facebook page!
