Happy Labor Day everyone! As much as I appreciate having the day off work, I appreciate even more those who still had to work today, even though so many people did not. For our day off, the hubby surprised me by taking me to downtown Norfolk to photograph urban scenery. To be honest, it was a little harder than I thought. I really had to work around the buildings that are already there, and a lot of times, I couldn't get the angle I wanted and had to improvise a little. That said, I'm happy with the results and I'm looking forward to going back sometime and shooting some more when the rain doesn't interrupt our time there.
I think it's pretty cool that there's a beautiful old church in the middle of an urban area
