My husband switched positions at his job a little over a year ago, moving buildings and responsibilities all at once. He was placed at a desk next to a man named Stan, who would prove to be a hilarious, hard-working, and enjoyable cube-mate. This year, after 22 years working in the Newport News shipyard, Stan is retiring.
It truly was an honor to photograph this retirement party. People came from all over the country (including Florida!) just to celebrate this special day. Everyone had a great time, and the video they put together for the occasion was impressive and as hilarious as Stan! Stan will be missed at the shipyard, but I'm sure he'll enjoy spending time with his wife at home - what a great couple!
