Zac & Tori // Hampton Wedding Photographer

To say this is one of the sweetest weddings I've witnessed would be an understatement! The day kicked off at the Hampton location of Liberty Baptist Church where the entire congregation was invited to come. Needless to say, it was a huge ceremony! After a reception with cake, punch, and tons of friends, Zac and Tori headed over with their family to the Suffolk campus to celebrate in a more intimate environment.

From the time I got there until I left, it was so obvious that Zac and Tori care so much about their family and friends. From the way Tori paid special attention to each flower girl and junior bridesmaid to how easygoing Zac was about ALL the pictures we had to take, they were both truly a pleasure to spend time with.

This was a day full of people - friends, family, the church, 18 in the bridal party plus 8 kids involved in the wedding - but despite the hundreds surrounding them, Zac and Tori had an intimate, sweet, ceremony that will be remembered for a long time. Each moment was truly thought out and special, which is so hard to do with a big wedding! It was a blessing to witness their love becoming one.

Zac & Tori, thank you so much for letting me be with you on your wedding day. As I look back at the pictures, I see so clearly the love you two have for each other, and I know it is built on a firm foundation! Stay tenderhearted towards each other, as I know you will, and I am so excited to see your love grow over time. Enjoy every moment of it :)

All of Zac and Tori's wedding party (with only 3 exceptions) was family, and they gave the sweetest speeches/toasts at the reception. It was so special to see how much the bride's family loves the groom, and vise versa!

Like I said, there were hundreds of people!

This is Zac and Tori with her sister/maid of honor and his brother/best man...they also happened to be the bouquet and garter catchers! If you guys need a wedding photographer down the line, you know who to call ;)

Like I said...HUGE bridal party! We have so many picture combinations, but I think this one sums it up nicely for the blog :) They were all so great to work with, and we actually finished early! Crazy.

...and since we finished early, we snuck in just a few more bride & groom portraits...

The worship pastor at Liberty's Suffolk campus sang a special song just for Zac and Tori, and then the father of the bride introduced a surprise video that had 'marriage advice' from all of the kids. It was hilarious!

Tori's dad had to walk her to the car one last time...such a special moment.

Sarah & Josh // Founder's Inn Virginia Beach Wedding Photographer

There are some days that are just MADE for weddings, and this was one of them! The weather was perfect, the trees were green, and there were still hints of blossoms all around.

Sarah and Josh were so relaxed on their wedding day, it was incredible! You could tell that they had both put a LOT of time and effort into it and yet, they were both calm and collected, just ready to be married. Theirs is a family full of veterans and active duty military, which added a special note to everything they did. Sarah was able to spend so much time with the special ladies in her life, that there was not one person who seemed stressed or tense! Meanwhile, Josh and his guys played around with swords while they waited for the biggest day of his life.

When it came time to recite the vows they had written to each other, though, they saw only the other; everyone else faded away as they stood in front of the water as the sun began to slowly sink, and they pledged their love to each other forever. It was perfect.

Later that night, I don't think they left the dance floor for a second! You could truly tell that Josh and Sarah love being with each other, and being a part of each other's lives.

Josh and Sarah, thanks for letting me in on just a little glimpse of your big, beautiful love story. I'm ever so grateful that I was able to be there, and I wish you only the happiest of memories forever. And many thanks to White Photography, for whom I was able to second shoot this incredible day!

Stu & Julie // Yorktowne Hotel, Lancaster Wedding Photographer

Oh this couple. Such a blessing to be around. They are the kind of people that lift your spirits with their positivity, and with their love. It was so obvious from the beginning, even before they saw each other for the first time, that Stu & Julie are so in love, and so ready to be together the rest of their lives. Their story is incredible, and includes many hardships and difficulties - including a cancer diagnosis - but it's evident that these trials only caused their love to grow. I was so blessed to be the second shooter for Dani White Photography, and so blessed to meet Stu, Julie, and all their friends and family.

I love seeing a couple that is so ready for their marriage that their whole day solely revolves around their future together. Julie is a sweet but spirited woman whose joy bubbles over onto those around her. Stu is more quiet and reserved, with a steadiness that is evidenced by all the people who surrounded him, loved him, and encouraged him on such a special day. Between the two of them, they fit together like a puzzle piece, a truth obvious to even myself, who only got a glimpse of it on their day.

Between Stu & Julie, they could have danced all night, just the two of them, and been content. And that's what they will do for the rest of their lives.

Stu & Julie...what can I say? I am a photographer because of people like you, whose lives I get to glimpse into for one special, solemn, and sweet day, one that will begin your future together. May blessings, laughter, and joy, define your marriage!
