We Moved! | Personal

Well, life has been a little - scratch that, a LOT crazy lately. We just moved our house and I'm sitting here typing with boxes and bags and tons of stuff surrounding me. The moving process is hard, y'all! But since most of you had no idea this even happened, let me back up and tell you the whole story.

In August of 2014 Nathan and I put our house on the market. I can't believe it's been that long, but it truly has. We had a number of reasons for wanting to sell, none of which had to do with the house - we truly loved where we lived and enjoyed how nice it was (especially for a first home). The Burden of Opportunity | Monday Musings

The Burden of Opportunity | Monday Musings

Opportunity is a funny thing. The age-old adage is, "When opportunity knocks, answer the door!" Never is that more true than in my life since becoming an entrepreneur. Their cuisine is based around a lot of fish and chicken, so when we ate local that's what we had.

A dish that is extremely popular there is called Thiéboudienne. We were fortunate enough to have this authentically prepared for us by a local, and it was absolutely delicious! I promised myself I'd make it right when I got home but when I looked up the recipe I realized it would take 2+ hours! So I set aside an afternoon where I could do it justice...
