A Simple Thank You | Personal

A Simple Thank You | Personal

I sat down much later than I normally do to write this. Honestly, I hadn't planned it - and trust me, I'm a huge planner. Yet the wave of what happened today has washed over me again and again, and I cannot finish this brand launch without saying thank you to so many people who made the day - and the launch - simply incredible, beyond what I could have hoped for. I'm sure I'll miss a few, but here's what comes to a very delirious mind late at night...

To my blog readers, thank you. It is amazing to me and continually blows me away when people I have never met or people I have known for years tell me they read my blog. If I ever pretend like this feels normal, it doesn't. It is humbling that anyone read this at all, and I'm so thankful for each of you.

To my brides and grooms and families, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with the most important moments of your lives. Thank you for letting me live out my dream and cheering me on while I do it. Each one of you has such a special place in my heart.

To my family (including Nathan's family, who IS my family), thank you. Thank you for being there from day 1. Thank you for letting me always take pictures of you. Thank you for trusting me with two family weddings (and counting). Thank you for being giving me nothing but love and support in my business.

To Chelsea, thank you. You are my blog reader. You are my friend. You are my family. If not for you, this honestly would not have happened. Thank you for celebrating with me and making me feel so very loved - not just today, but every day. I am so thankful for you.

To Nathan, thank you. You've listened to me agonize over every detail of this rebrand, and you have talked me through it all. When I was in the midst of getting my website together and feeling stressed, you brought me exactly what I wanted (fruit - my forever craving). You celebrated with me and you always tell me how proud you are of my. I love you. I couldn't do this without you.

To my Savior, thank you. I'm not writing this because I feel like I have to. I'm not saying thank you to God because it's the 'right' thing to do. And above all, I'm not thanking You because I then want You to give me success. None of this matters for eternity unless You're in it - and that's what true success means. After an amazing day, I was reminded of how much you care about me. You loved me enough to surround me with the most supportive friends and family. You've blessed this business and blessed me through it. Thank you for giving me the best day. Thank you for giving me this business. Thank you for letting me celebrate. Truly, I can never thank you enough.

A Brand New Maria Grace Photography + A Giveaway! | Business

It's finally here! I've been thinking about this day for months, and it feels so surreal that it has finally arrived. I'm so excited to announce my NEW brand, created by the incredible Jacki from Foil & Ink - seriously, check out her work. She's amazing!

There are a few things I want to say about my new brand, and my reasoning behind the logo, colors, and overall feel..

Choosing the Right Designer | Business

Choosing the Right Designer | Business

I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I was hitting the tail end of the rebrand process, and since then I've continued to work hard at getting it all together. I'm excited to announce that the BIG reveal will be this upcoming Tuesday, November 3! Mark your calendar and set a reminder because not only am I rebranding, I'm also completely changing my website as well. Additionally, there will be one giveaway on the blog and another giveaway on Instagram...so get ready!

Probably the biggest decision of the entire rebrand process was how to choose my graphic designer. I did not think this would be difficult, but it proved a daunting task. Should I choose someone based on a friend's recommendation? If they were new, could I trust them with my site? How do I make sure I don't just end up with the same logo as 15 other people before me? I had all this swirling around in my head as I reached out to dozens of graphic designers...
