I will forever remember the moment when Nathan asked me to marry him. He was down on one knee in front of the fountains at City Center in Newport News and I bawled my eyes out. I knew at the time I would never forget that life-changing gesture, but when a photographer popped out of the bushes (before that was a common thing!) I was filled with joy knowing that I could visually relive the moment over and again for the rest of my life. I'm still SO thankful we have those pictures, and when I get to photograph a proposal for someone else I get extra excited because of it!
Steven and Rachel decided to go on vacation from Pennsylvania with his son and her daughter. All she knew was that they were spending the weekend in Williamsburg - and she was pretty sure he wasn't going to propose this trip. All he knew was that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with this woman, and he would ask her on the last day of their vacation before they headed back home.
