You may just recognize Elysse from her wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens a few weeks ago! In general, we schedule bridal portraits to happen before the wedding, but in this case we booked a date that ended up being the Friday Hurricane Florence rolled in. Of course we had to cancel and reschedule, and with a busy fall in front of us it had to happen after she got married. But oh was it worth the wait!
Leonard and Elysse’s wedding was beautiful, with clouds bringing out the richness of the colors, but for her bridal portraits the sun peeked through and we got some of that gorgeous, glowy light I’ve been dying for! Her cascading bouquet and beautiful flower comb made repeat appearances, and of course her dress was still a stunner.
She’s a beautiful bride and wife, and I’m so thankful I got to spend more time with Elysse on the perfect Monday evening.
