Yorktown Freight Shed Vow Renewal

Yorktown Freight Shed Vow Renewal

Erik and Norma have been married for 8 years, but their love is stronger now than ever, and after many delays they decided to throw the party of a lifetime and renew their wedding vows in front of friends and family on a beautiful spring day at Yorktown Beach. Both of them have been through a lot in their lives, and for the last decade they have been through all the difficulties side-by-side and hand-in-hand. With their children by their side, they affirmed the hard times while acknowledging how beautiful their relationship has grown as a result.

The beauty of their love was matched by the beautiful details that accompanied their celebration. Beautifully Divine Events coordinated the whole affair, from gorgeous flower arrangements to a classy setup at the Yorktown Freight Shed and everything in between. The result was a day filled with both meaning and beauty, one that welcomed guests from both near and far as they reflected on Erik and Norma’s marriage, with many happy years ahead.

Mt. Defiance Cidery Wedding | Sam + Clara

Mt. Defiance Cidery Wedding | Sam + Clara

How is it possible that I have known Clara since she was in high school?! We traveled to West Africa together over 5 years ago, and since then she has grown into a beautiful young woman, ready on a day at the end of November to marry the love of her life, Sam. As both of them were surrounded by family and close friends to celebrate their wedding, it became obvious how well the two of them work as a couple, and how bright the future ahead of them will be.

There are only a few cideries in Virginia, and Mt. Defiance Cider Barn might just be the most beautiful of them all! Nestled in rural Middleburg, the guests enjoyed unique ciders and a beautiful reception setup by Larissa Wedding Designs. Clara’s wedding bouquet was filled with deep red dahlias between eucalyptus leaves, and the stole she wore was the perfect touch for one of the classiest, most stunning brides I have ever known…

Historic Tuckahoe Plantation Wedding in Richmond | Connor + Kristen

Historic Tuckahoe Plantation Wedding in Richmond | Connor + Kristen

Connor and Kristen knew when they planned their wedding that they wanted to keep the main thing in front of them at all times, so an intimate celebration at the Historic Tuckahoe Plantation was the perfect choice for their wedding day. Surrounded by family and a few very close friends, the two said their “I do’s” under a gorgeous greenery arch as the sun peeked over the trees and bathed the surrounding flowers in light. The stress of a huge wedding day was lifted off their shoulders, but they were able to celebrate their love in a way that rang true to them.

Kristen looked radiant as a bride, from her beautifully styled hair (thanks to The Studio RVA) to her unique bouquet complete with tiny cat and dog charms. When Connor saw her walking down the aisle his eyes filled with tears, and as the two promised to be together forever, I saw their bond only strengthen and grow throughout the day.
