Chrysler Museum Wedding Inspiration | Norfolk Wedding Photographer

Chrysler Museum Wedding Inspiration | Norfolk Wedding Photographer

Back in April, I had the absolute pleasure of working with some of the most talented vendors in the Hampton Roads area to create an inspirational wedding styled shoot at the Chrysler Museum in beautiful downtown Norfolk. I had connected with Misty Saves the Day, and together we brainstormed ways to solidify my brand, focusing on elegant, indoor weddings for joyful couples in Hampton Roads and beyond.

The shoot that followed was absolute perfection. We hit all the right notes with the place settings in copper, with tons of greenery incorporated. The florals were a stunning combination of tangerine, deep purple, and tons of green. The dress was a long-sleeved beauty that accentuated the church wedding element of my brand (though, of course, I love and photograph all types of weddings - those are just my specialty!). The inside of the Chrysler, filled with natural light and gorgeous architecture, brought the whole shoot together in an amazing way.

I could write paragraphs about how incredible each vendor was, and how it was their creativity that brought everything to life but instead, I will let the images speak for themselves. With an exciting feature on Every Last Detail blog earlier this month, I couldn't wait to share these for myself. Enjoy this stunning Chrysler Museum wedding inspiration - and be sure to check out each vendor's website, because I certainly did not do this alone...

The Aisle Society Debut in New York City | Business

Last year, many of you know that I went to New York. It was amazing and life changing and everything I expected it to be! I couldn't believe it took me almost 24 years to visit for the first time. Since I went, I had been dying to go back but although my husband is always a good sport, he in no way feels the same warm fuzzies towards the Big Apple that I do. I knew he would go back if I really asked, but I also knew that he had no desire to do so.

My friend Chelsea texted me just a few weeks ago - she had an invite to the big launch of Aisle Society at New York Bridal Week and had a plus one for someone else. I thought about the expense and inconvenience of going to New York on a whim for one day and almost said no. But then I asked the one question I always ask myself (you can read on that here) and sent her a text the next morning that said, "So...wanna go to New York?" And thus, the adventure began...
